Vintage Bowie knife from F.E.S. (Ferdinand Everts Sohn) Solingen, Germany.
The blade is marked “Original Bowie Knife” and decorated with a buffalo scene. It also carries the mark “F.E.S. Rostfrei".
The handle is made of hard black plastic with plated metal, probably chrome plated. The blade is sharp and looks nice, though it needs a polish.

It comes with its original leather sheath, decorated with a reindeer motif and closed with a clip-on button. The leather is a bit dry and needs moisturizing, and the strap inside shows some cracking but still holds firmly. The metal buttons have light rust that can be polished away.

Overall, a really attractive vintage knife that is sharp and decorative. For collectors and for outdoor use.
