With titles in the two smaller classes the Honda prodigy stunned the world by winning in his MotoGP rookie year back in 2013. in 2014 he was determined to go one step further and become the youngest ever back-to-back top level World Champion.
Marc's dynamism and determination set the scene for a sensational season. It was great to see Valentino Rossi getting back into his stride after a run of disappointing seasons, especially when he took the chequered flag at Misano and Phillip Island to crown his best season since 2010.
