Condition:
vintage,
If I vote it 0-10 (0 means absolutely rubbish and 10 means new condition) I would rate it as around 5-6. There are some stains around the collar and also in the body area. See picture 9. And The inside is quite aged and yellow, lots of stains.
My recommendation of usage of this condition would be:
1. hang it up as decoration
2. Tear it up and use outside silk to make other craftmanship pieces
3. dye it to deeper colour
4. change it to Halloween costume, pour red colour on it to make it look like "blood", it is so cheap so you would not feel pity of it.
Of course you can try to use dry clean to clean it, the outside might turn quite clean but the inside is beyond save.
Size:
See Picture 10
Kimono is extremely tolerant to size, I am 158cm, 54kg, My husband is 191cm 92kg, both of us fit into this set (Magic !) I think the best fit is probably between 160-185 cm and weight 60-85kg.
Check Picture 10 for the modern way of wearing a kimono, you don't need an obi belt, any belt would work. If it is too long, just fold everything!
Material:
100% silk, the fabric has 3D traditional Japanese Hanabishi (diamond pattern stylized chestnut flowers with petals forming a rhombus).
Colour is light mint green, very beautiful colour.

REPUEPOSED KIMONO
There's a HUGE recycling community with kimono being remade into western garments, dresses. kimono is normally made of extremely high-quality silk, and since kimonos are tailored from square fabric, you usually get large pieces of textile from them. This can be used to make new clothes, coasters, cup mats, handbags, cushion covers, T-shirts, and so on
According to how textile are tailored to make kimono, when you tear a kimono down, you should be able to get lots of useful textile to reuse.
