Accessibility Statement for Tradera

Tradera is a marketplace that aims to enable the purchase and sale of second-hand goods for private individuals and businesses. In connection with a sale, Tradera also provides integrated payment and shipping booking.

Tradera strives to ensure that our website and mobile applications are accessible to all users, regardless of individual circumstances or assistive technologies. This statement describes how www.tradera.com, Tradera’s iOS app, and Tradera’s Android app comply with the Accessibility Act/LPTT, which known shortcomings exist, and how you can contact us regarding any accessibility issues.

How accessible is the website?

We are aware that certain parts of the website and our apps are not fully accessible in accordance with current guidelines. The work to improve accessibility is ongoing and is based on WCAG 2.1, level AA. Tradera’s developers have participated in internal training on accessibility and the Accessibility Act.

In each section below, the shortcomings identified per platform are presented.

If you find that content on Tradera is not accessible to you, we encourage you to contact us via email at accessibility@tradera.com, and we will assist you further.

Our goal is to respond to incoming accessibility cases within five (5) working days.

Report accessibility issues

If you discover shortcomings in Tradera’s compliance with the Accessibility Act, we appreciate it if you report these to us via email at Accessibility@tradera.com. Your feedback is an important part of our improvement work.

Supervisory authority

The Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) is the responsible supervisory authority for digital accessibility in Sweden. If you believe that Tradera does not handle accessibility issues in accordance with applicable regulations, you can contact PTS.

Technical information about accessibility

Tradera’s website is partially compliant with the Accessibility Act. This means that some parts do not yet meet all the requirements. We are aware of these shortcomings and are actively working to resolve them. Detailed information on identified issues can be found in the sections below.

  • Registration flow is not accessible – redesign planned for the second half of 2025
  • Hover menus cannot be used with a keyboard

  • Price slider requires drag gestures
  • Drag gestures required to switch between product images
  • Meaningful icons lack text alternatives
  • Data table with user reviews is not presented clearly to VoiceOver
  • Message popups are not always read out by screen readers
  • Important text fields and buttons are illogically placed in reading order
  • Several text input fields rely only on placeholder text
  • iOS app is locked to portrait mode
  • “Book shipping” web view cannot be navigated with keyboard
