It would bea rare case if anyone were even aware of Zone Zero as they only putout one vinyl single and a few demo tapes in the early 80s beforedisbanding. In the land of early Swedish Heavy Metal, the veryfirst and most important band was without question Heavy Load, whostarted in the late 70’s. With that said, Zone Zero does have avery strong Heavy Load influence and were also influenced by JudasPriest and the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal. There were quite afew bands that popped up in the early 80’s in Europe that couldhave easily been apart of the N.W.O.B.H.M. but they weren’t becausethat period of time only included England. A double albumcompilation was released in 2014 that included all the music fromtheir entire career, which started in 1980. The band was alsore-united in 2008 when they put together 3 new songs that alsoended up on that compilation. The compilation once again stirred upan interest in the band and they performed a successful gig at theMuskelrock Festival in Sweden. Once again the band got backtogether at their Number Live Studio. This time the band puttogether their first real complete studio album. Anyone interestedin Swedish metal or Swedish metal history need to check out thisband.
