Interesting large German medal, commemorating the completion of Cologne Cathedral 1880.

Obverse:
shows the famous Cologne Cathedral and the inscription "DER DOM ZU KÖLN." - "BEGONNEN 1248 VOLLENDET 1880".

Reverse:
shows the The Holy Three Kings and the inscription "Anbetung der hl. drei Könige" - "DOMBILD ZU KÖLN".

The medal was designed by Drentwett (signature on obverse side)..
