Ground Control Audio "Serpens" Optical Boost/Compressor

Compressors are hard to pull off. Not to toot our own horn but we think we did. The Serpens is a very organic, and very touchy-feely optical compressor. It’s a must-have tool for tappity guitars if you’re playing math or midwest emo, for example. The controls are meant to be more intuitive than theoretical so you don’t need a college degree in sound engineering to operate the pedal.
The Serpens is a feed-forward LED-LDR optical compressor. It has tons of gain on tap and a couple of more subtle tweaks can be done under the hood through a pair of trim potentiometers.
