Full Description

Advanced acoustic design

The Advanced Acoustic series represents a complete rethink of the acoustic guitar, and the AAD77M1E is a clear example of that approach. Ibanez developed the Grand Dreadnought body to deliver more volume, stronger low-end response and improved projection compared to traditional designs. Careful attention to ergonomics ensures the body feels comfortable despite its size, making it suitable for long playing sessions while still delivering a bold, room-filling sound.

Balanced tonewoods and construction

A solid Sitka spruce top provides a broad frequency range with crisp highs, focused mids and a full low end that responds dynamically to your playing. This is paired with flamed maple back and sides, adding definition and brightness that help notes stay clear in both solo and ensemble settings. The maple bridge efficiently transfers string vibration to the body, supporting a natural, articulate acoustic voice.

Comfort-focused playability

The low oval grip okoume neck is shaped to make chord transitions smooth and relaxed, ideal for strumming-heavy styles and extended sessions. A functional tapered headstock improves string alignment and tuning stability while keeping weight down. The advanced access cutaway allows easy reach to higher frets, expanding the guitar’s versatility for melodic lines and lead work.

Stage-ready electronics and features

For amplified performance, the AAD77M1E is equipped with a T-bar undersaddle pickup and AEQ-TP2 preamp. This system accurately captures the guitar’s natural tone while offering simple bass and treble controls and a clear onboard tuner. Balanced XLR and standard jack outputs make it easy to integrate into live or recording setups, while thoughtful features like A.I.R.port enhance player monitoring.
