Opressionis a compilation album from black metal legends Shining. But itsnot your average best of/worst of compilation but a collection ofrare recordings and outtakes, mainly from the early days of theband’s career. Shining is Niklas Kvarforth’s love child and hasbeen since he formed this act in Halmstad, Sweden back in the mid90s. Kvarforth is known for his suicide-themed lyrics and the musiccontains depressive undertones and are often very personal. So thisis not for the weak of heart.
