All three-position valves are spring-loaded, i.e. they return to the neutral position by themselves when the power supply is interrupted.

Principle of the slider:
Mode 1 neutral (power supply off) cylinder piston rod stops - oil goes to overflow.
Mode 2 operating (power supply only to solenoid one) the cylinder piston rod is extended.
Mode 3 operation (power supply to solenoid two only) cylinder piston rod retracts.
